As of Sunday Morning, November 17, 2024, a total of 19 countries have successfully secured their places in the upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), which will take place in Morocco.​


Some of the 19 countries confirmed their place in the 2025 AFCON after matchday five. The remaining five teams are expected to join the qualified national teams after the match-day six fixtures for AFCON qualifiers scheduled for Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday.

Among the nations that recently earned their spots in the prestigious tournament are Zambia, Mali, Zimbabwe, and Comoros, following the exciting outcomes of the latest match-day fixtures. Their performances have been commendable, contributing to their qualification for this highly anticipated competition.

Note that Morocco secured their place in the tournament automatically as the host. Teams like Senegal, Ivory Coast, Algeria, and Burkina Faso secured their places in the tournament after matchday four.
