The Nigeria National League (NNL) has officially announced the fixtures for the eagerly awaited 2024-2025 season, stirring a wave of excitement among fans, players, and stakeholders across the country.​


Abakaliki FC is set to go head-to-head against Madiba FC in what promises to be an electrifying encounter on the opening weekend, November 30.

This much-anticipated showdown has already captured the fervent attention of supporters who are eager to witness the on-field rivalry.

The significant announcement was made during an elaborate draw ceremony held at the indoor hall of the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne.

In the fixtures outlined for Conference A, First Bank of Lagos is slated to host Osun United in a match projected to be intensely competitive.

Additionally, Gateway FC from Abeokuta will square off against Godswill Akpabio FC, while Kun Khalifa of Owerri will take on Emalex FC from Owo.

All eyes will be on the highly anticipated clash between Abakaliki FC and Madiba FC, as fans eagerly await the action and drama that will ensue.

In Southern Conference B, the excitement continues with several compelling matches. Smart City Edel FC will go against the Abia Comets, promising a battle both on the pitch and in the stands.

Another highlight features I472 hosting Igbado FC, Beyond FC is gearing up to welcome Dakkada in a match that could have significant playoff implications, while Warri Wolves prepare to challenge Crown FC in what could be a pivotal clash for both teams.

Also, Ijele FC are set to host Inter Lagos, further enhancing the slate of thrilling fixtures across this conference.

Turning to Conferences C and D, notable matchups include Sokoto FC, who will face the Abuja-based Mailantaeki Care in a game expected to test both teams’ stamina and skills.

In another exciting matchup, Zamfara will compete against the Wikki Tourists, setting the stage for a thrilling display of talent. Kebbi United will also host Sporting Supreme, looking to secure crucial points early in the season.

George Aluo, the league’s chairman, expressed his optimism for the upcoming season, emphasizing the importance of the carefully crafted draw.

“The rejig of the draw was deemed necessary after discussions with various stakeholders involved in the league. We want to ensure that this new season surpasses the previous one in terms of excitement and quality,” Aluo remarked following the draw ceremony.
