Nasarawa United’s technical director, Kabiru Dogo, is confident that his team is well-prepared to end Remo Stars’ unbeaten record at the Remo Stars Stadium.

Despite the challenges posed by their opponents, Dogo expressed faith in his players’ ability to execute their game plan, maintain discipline, and capitalize on scoring opportunities.

“We are not unaware of the challenges our next opponents pose, but we are confident in our preparations,” Dogo said.

“Our focus is on executing our game plan, staying disciplined, and taking our chances.”

Note that Remo Stars have not suffered a defeat at home so far this season but have recorded just a defeat away from home. Their NPFL game against Nasarawa United will kick off at 4 p.m. later today, October 13.

Kennedy Boboye Praises His Team

The technical adviser of Sunshine Stars, Kennedy Boboye, has praised his team for their recent 1-0 victory over the reigning NPFL champions, Enugu Rangers.

While praising his players for the win, Boboye emphasized the importance of continuous improvement and working on converting goalscoring opportunities.

“It was a good game; the most important thing is the three points we have because it’s one game after the other,” Boboye said.

“All we need is just to go back and start working on goal scoring; had we won the game by four to five goals, it would have been well deserved.

“There is no game we played that we didn’t miss goals since the league program started.”

Akwa United Coach Hopes For Victory

Akwa United’s head coach, Mohammed Babaganaru, remains optimistic about his team’s prospects and is determined to end their winless streak in the NPFL.

Babaganaru emphasized the team’s focus on converting their ball possession into goals and learning from previous mistakes to secure a positive result in their upcoming match against Kano Pillars.

“We have only one thing to focus our attention on and that is to ensure we translate our ball play to goals by making sure we make the best use of our chances during the match,” he told the club’s official website.

“We have properly assessed our previous matches and taken note of the mistakes that we made.

“We have worked on those noticeable lapses and we know what to do to avoid a repeat of those mistakes as we go into the next match.”

Kano Pillars will be at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium at 4 p.m. today for their NPFL matchday 6 encounter against Akwa United.
