Galatasaray of Turkey sensation, Victor James Osimhen is celebrating another brace of goals for his team, yet is already eyeing more victories and the UEFA Europa League trophy.
The in-form striker is also of a strong belief that he can clinch lots of laurels with the Turkish Super Lig side, for which he hit home two goals on Sunday.

Sports247.ng reports that ‘The Seamless Henchman’ was again the star of the show for his Istanbul-based side, as he powered home two headers in a stunning 3-2 win against a gritty Samsunspor side.
Though the visitors notched home two penalties in the five-goal thriller, Osimhen had the last laugh, as he took his goals’ tally to six in the same number of Super Lig games.
He now has a total of eight goals across nine matches overall since arriving on loan in a last ditch move from SSC Napoli of Italy in the summer, but the current African Footballer of The Year says there is more to come from him and his teammates.
Osimhen also disclosed that he is happy with his explosive start to life at Gala, where number six has become a magical figure for him and the squad, fondly called The Red And Yellow club.
While Osimhen now has six goals in six Lig matches, Gala have won their last six matches, and they now stand six points clear at the top of the table … with eyes on a back-to-back conquest of the title come May 2025.
However, in spite of the huge statistics already garnered by him and the squad, Osimhen, who also has four assists to his name from nine matches across all competitions, is equally targeting top spot in the Europa League.
Memory is still fresh with a similar brace that was enacted by Osimhen during last week’s 3-2 spanking of Tottenham Hotspur of England in his side’s last continental fixture, which the youngster believes he and his pals are capable of replicating.
The former Ultimate Strikers of Lagos, VfL Wolfsburg of Germany, RC Charleroi of Belgium, and Lille Metropole of France hitman affirmed that Galatasaray have enough quality to help them maintain the tempo on all fronts.
“As a squad, we really have that quality to continue moving forward and build on each game.
“We will build on this momentum. It’s a big win for us, and I think we have the squad to go further.
“We also want to win the Europa League … but it’s not going to be easy. There are a lot of obstacles and a lot of good teams we are going to face.
“They are tough, but we’ll be prepared for all of them, and we’ll be ready,” said Osimhen.
He will now turn his attention on joining his national team colleagues in the Super Eagles’ camp, as they prepare to battle Benin Republic in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers on Thursday and Rwanda four days later.
Having missed the last double head fixtures versus Libya, and was not part of the airport agony his pals faced when they travelled for a botched reverse tie in Benghazi, Osimhen will aim to make up for lost ground this week.
He is currently Nigeria’s third highest goals scorer ever (with 22), but needs just two more to edge ahead of Segun Odegbami (23) in second place and 16 to take over top spot from Rashidi Yekini (37).
