This page explains how we decide what to publish and how we keep it accurate.
Our standards
We publish only information we can source. If we can't confirm a detail, such as a price, an opening time or an event date, we leave it out or say it needs to be confirmed with the place directly.
Sources
We rely on official government and tourism body websites first, then the operator or organiser of the place or event, then reputable published reporting. Visa, entry and safety pages always link to the official source.
Dates and updates
Each page shows when it was last checked. We change that date only when we have actually rechecked the information. Prices, fees, schedules and entry rules change often, so check with the place or the official source before you travel.
Photos
Photos are credited to their source and licence where required. We only use a picture to show a place if it really shows that place. Any illustration or AI-generated image is labelled as an illustration and is never presented as a photo of a real location or event.
AI tools
We use AI tools to help research, draft and organise pages. Each page is reviewed against its listed sources before it is published.
Corrections
If you find an error, email hello@naijarave.com with the page address and what is wrong. We aim to check it within a few days. When we correct something, we update the page and its last checked date.
Independence
Places and businesses can't pay to be included or to change what we say about them. Links that earn us a commission, if we ever add them, are labelled and don't affect our recommendations.
