Early Life and Education Folu Storms was born on November 25, 1986, in Lagos State, Nigeria. She pursued higher education by attending the University of Bristol and later Aberystwyth University. In 2009, she furthered her studies by enrolling at the University of Bristol for a Master of Laws (LLM). Storms also holds a diploma in Broadcast Journalism from the Pan-African University. Career Progression and Major Achievements Storms began her career as a media personality, gaining recognition as a co-host for the Breakfast show at Smooth 98.1FM in Lagos, a role she held until at least 2019. Her engaging presence and skill in broadcasting led to several awards. She won the 2017 Ebony Life TV Sisterhood Award for TV Personality of the Year, followed by the On-Air Personality award at the 2018 Future Awards, and an ELOY Award. Her versatility also extends to film production, having won the Best Documentary award at the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) in 2016 for her work on *The New Africa Documentary*.
