Omotola Jalade Ekeinde MFR (born February 7, 1978) is a Nigerian actress, singer, philanthropist, and former model. Widely regarded as one of the most prominent and influential figures in the history of the Nigerian film industry, Nollywood, she has appeared in over 300 films since her debut in 1995. Early Life and Education Omotola Jalade was born in Lagos, Nigeria, into a family of five: her parents and two younger brothers. She is of Ondo descent. Her primary education took place at Chrisland School, Opebi, and she later attended Santos Layout in Lagos. Her initial aspirations were in management. She briefly studied at Obafemi Awolowo University before proceeding to Yaba College of Technology, where she studied Estate Management.
