Tomi Davies

Harry Ola'Tomi Davies (TD), born on June 9, 1955, is a Nigerian-British investor, author, speaker, entrepreneur, and digital transformation expert, widely recognized for his pioneering role in African angel investment and technology advisory.Early Life and Education Davies attended primary school at Corona School, Victoria Island, Lagos, and completed his secondary education at King's College, Lagos, and St. Gregory's College, Ikoyi, Lagos. He pursued higher education in the United States, becoming an alumnus of the University of Miami and the University of Miami School of Business.Career Progression and Achievements Davies began his career in technology in the mid-1980s as a systems engineer at IBM, where he was involved in writing microcode for the PCjr and teaching COBOL and FORTRAN programming languages. Following his work at IBM, he completed his Nigerian youth service at Elf Aquitaine.
