Ahmad Aliyu

Ahmad Aliyu is a Nigerian politician and the current Governor of Sokoto State. He has built a career spanning public service and elective positions, culminating in his role as the chief executive of the state.Early Life and Education Ahmad Aliyu was born on January 1, 1970, in Sokoto State, Nigeria. He completed his foundational education in Sokoto, attending various local institutions. He obtained a Diploma in Management Studies and later a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Public Administration. His pursuit of knowledge continued with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Public Administration. These academic foundations prepared him for his eventual entry into public service.Career Progression and Public Service Aliyu's career in public service began within the Sokoto State civil service.
