Bayanni Oladokun Abimbola Elijah (born June 25, 1997, in Lagos, Nigeria), widely known by his stage name Bayanni, is a Nigerian singer-songwriter specializing in the Afro-fusion and Afro-pop genres. He is recognized as one of the promising new voices in the Afrobeats movement and is currently signed to the prominent Nigerian record label, Mavin Records. Early Life and Education Bayanni was born in Lagos, Nigeria, on June 25, 1997. His upbringing was immersed in music, and his parents were supportive of his passion, with his father funding his first recording session. He attended a high school where musical instruments were taught, leading him to become proficient in playing seven different instruments, with the drums being his favorite.
