David Adedeji Adeleke (born November 21, 1992), widely known as Davido, is a Nigerian-American singer, songwriter, and record producer. He is a prominent figure in the Afrobeats genre and is recognized globally for his unique sound, entrepreneurial ventures, and extensive philanthropic efforts.Early Life and Education Davido was born in Atlanta, Georgia, and relocated to Lagos, Nigeria, at a young age. He is the son of Adedeji Adeleke, a Nigerian billionaire businessman, and Vero Adeleke, a university lecturer who passed away in 2003. He attended the British International School in Lagos. Davido initially pursued a degree in Business Administration at Oakwood University in Alabama, United States.
