Falz

Folarin Falana (born October 27, 1990), widely known by his stage name Falz (sometimes stylized as Falz TheBahdGuy), is a Nigerian rapper, songwriter, and actor. He is recognized for his unique blend of music and comedy, and for his commentary on social issues. Early Life and Education Falz was born in Lagos, Nigeria, to human rights activists Femi and Funmi Falana. He grew up in Lagos and attended St. Leo's Catholic Primary School and Olashore International Secondary School. After secondary school, he moved to the United Kingdom to pursue higher education, earning an LLB degree from the University of Reading and later being called to the bar in Nigeria after graduating from the Nigerian Law School. Despite his legal background, Falz developed a deep passion for music and entertainment from a young age. Career Progression Falz officially began his music career in 2009 with the release of the single "Wazup Guy." He gained initial recognition with the song "High Class" and later released his debut studio album, "Wazup Guy," in 2014.
