**Flavour** (born Chinedu Izuchukwu Okoli on November 23, 1983) is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist widely recognized as a prominent figure in the contemporary African music scene, particularly known for pioneering the Igbo highlife and Afrobeats fusion genre. He often performs under the stage name Flavour N'abania or simply Flavour. **Early Life and Education** Flavour was born in Enugu, Enugu State, Nigeria. His musical journey began in his local church, where he started as a drummer. In 1996, a resident pastor introduced him to Chris I. Ordor, the CEO of SoundCity Communications. Flavour received an educational scholarship to study music under the company. After three years of drumming, he transitioned to playing the keyboard professionally. His musical education also included learning production from Nigerian music producers like Dekumzy, Isi Charles, and Nnachie. **Career Progression and Notable Works** Flavour released his debut album, *N'abania*, in 2005 through Obaino Music.
