**Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya** (born October 9, 1961) is a Nigerian politician and the current Governor of Gombe State. He is recognized for his extensive career in both the public and private sectors, culminating in his leadership role in Gombe State's governance.Early Life and Education Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya attended Central Primary School and the Government Science Secondary School in Gombe. He then pursued higher education at Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting in 1983.Career Progression Yahaya began his professional life in the public sector, starting with the Bauchi State Investment and Property Development Company, where he served as a principal accountant from 1984 to 1985. Transitioning to the private sector, he was the Managing Director of A.Y.U Civil Engineering Company Ltd from 1993 to 1999. His foray into politics began when he served as the Commissioner of Finance and Economic Development for Gombe State, a position he held from 2003 to 2011.Major Achievements and Notable Works Inuwa Yahaya is a prominent leader in the All Progressives Congress (APC) party. He was elected Governor of Gombe State and is noted for consolidating his political influence in the region.
