Jamie Adenuga (born 4 May 1985 in Hackney, London, England), widely known by his stage name Jme, is a prominent British MC, songwriter, record producer, rapper, and disc jockey. He is recognized as a key figure in the grime music scene and is a co-founder of the influential crew and record label Boy Better Know (BBK).Early Life and Education Jme began his career in music around 2003. Prior to co-founding BBK, he was a member of the grime collective Meridian Crew and later the pioneering group Roll Deep, alongside his older brother, Skepta. For his education, Jme attended the University of Greenwich.Career Progression and Major Achievements Jme is noted for his independent approach to music. He started producing by making mobile phone ringtones and later used software like Mario Paint, Game Boy Camera, Fruity Loops, Pro Tools, and Logic Studio for production. In October 2008, he achieved a significant milestone by becoming one of the few unsigned artists to headline at the London Astoria.
