Kemi Adetiba (born January 8, 1980) is a highly acclaimed Nigerian filmmaker, television director, and music video director. She is recognized as a pivotal figure in contemporary Nigerian cinema, celebrated for her successful commercial and critical works that have significantly shaped the industry, particularly the Nollywood film sector.Early Life and Education Kemi Adetiba was born in Lagos, Nigeria, on January 8, 1980, to Dele and Mayen Adetiba. Her upbringing exposed her to the media industry early in life, and she began her career journey as a young professional. For her tertiary education, Adetiba pursued an accounting degree at Lagos State University.Career Progression and Notable Works Adetiba's multifaceted career began in the media, where she worked as a radio presenter and later as a television director. Her portfolio includes directing hit music videos for prominent artists such as Niyola ("Last Bus-Stop"), Banky W ("Lagos Party" and "More You"), and the Hennessy Artistry collaboration featuring Wizkid and 2face Idibia ("Dance Go (Eau de Vie)").
