**Magixx** (born Alexander Adelabu on September 27, 1999, in Lagos, Nigeria) is a Nigerian singer and songwriter recognized for his blend of Afro-fusion and Afro-pop music. He is a prominent emerging talent in the modern Afrobeats scene, known for his distinct musical approach that incorporates elements of trap, dancehall, Afropop, and R\&B.Early Life and Education Alexander Adelabu was born and raised in Lagos State, Nigeria. His passion for music began to flourish during his early life in Lagos. Academically, Magixx pursued and successfully obtained a degree in Mass Communication from the University of Lagos (UNILAG). His formal education was pursued alongside his developing musical aspirations.Career Progression and Achievements Magixx's professional career gained significant traction when he was discovered and signed to the prominent Nigerian record label Mavin Records, led by Don Jazzy. He was admitted to the Mavin Academy in 2021, an institution designed to groom musical talent. His debut effort, the eponymous *Magixx EP*, helped introduce him to the Nigerian music audience.
