Mayorkun (born Mayowa Adewale-Emmanuel) is a prominent Nigerian singer, songwriter, and pianist recognized for his significant contributions to the Afrobeats genre. He was born in Lagos, Nigeria.Early Life and Education Mayowa Adewale-Emmanuel grew up in a family connected to the arts; his mother is a popular Nigerian actress. After completing his degree, Mayorkun briefly worked in the banking sector.
