He gained recognition for his contributions to the Afrobeats, Street-pop, Amapiano, Afropop, and Hip Hop genres, establishing himself as a notable figure in the Nigerian music industry before his untimely death. **Early Life and Career** Mohbad was born on 3 January 1996, in Ikorodu, Lagos, Nigeria. During his early life, he developed a significant connection with music, displaying remarkable talent in the field. He rose to prominence in the Nigerian music scene as a signee of Naira Marley’s Marlian Records. During his time with the label, he released several hit songs and EPs, solidifying his foundation in the Afrobeats and Street-pop categories. **Career Progression and Notable Works** Mohbad's unique blend of Afrobeats and indigenous Nigerian street sounds resonated widely, earning him a dedicated following.
