Nonso Amadi Chinonso Obinna Amadi (born September 1, 1995, in Lagos, Nigeria), widely known as Nonso Amadi, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and record producer. He is recognized for his genre-blending musical style, which fuses Afro R&B, Alté, and Afropop. Amadi is a self-taught musician and a prominent figure in the Nigerian music scene, with a growing international presence. Early Life and Education Nonso Amadi was born in Lagos, Nigeria, and is the third of seven children. He attended St Gregory's College in Ikoyi, Lagos, graduating in 2009. His academic pursuits led him to study Chemical Engineering at Covenant University, where he began his music career in 2012. In 2014, he continued his engineering studies at Swansea University in the United Kingdom. He later obtained a master's degree from McMaster University in Canada, where he is currently based.
