**Pheelz** (born Phillip Kayode Moses on June 5, 1994, in Lagos, Nigeria) is a highly prominent Nigerian record producer, songwriter, and singer. Recognized initially as "Pheelz Mr. Producer," he is a significant figure in contemporary African music, specializing in Afropop, Afrobeats, R\&B, and African hip-hop.Early Life and Education Phillip Kayode Moses was born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria. He began his musical journey singing in a church choir. He attended Ideal Comprehensive High School in Ajangbandi Afromedia. His professional entry into music began when he worked under the tutelage of I.D Cabassa at Coded Tunes, a record label where he first connected with Nigerian superstar Olamide.Career Progression and Major Achievements Pheelz started his professional career in 2011, initially focusing on production. His earliest notable work was featuring vocals and producing the track "I'm Going In" on Olamide's *Rapsodi* album in 2011. His breakthrough as a producer came in 2012. Pheelz is famously credited with producing almost the entire tracklist of Olamide's critically acclaimed 2013 album, *Baddest Guy Ever Liveth*. This success cemented his reputation as a prolific producer, leading to collaborations with major artists including Davido, Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, Teni, Fireboy DML, and Usher. In the later stages of his career, Pheelz transitioned more prominently into singing and songwriting, releasing his own material. His international profile surged in 2022 with the massive hit single "Finesse," a collaboration with BNXN (formerly Buju).
