**Saheed Osupa** (born Akorede Babatunde Okunola on August 7, 1969), often referred to by his stage name King Saheed Osupa (K.S.O.), is a prominent Nigerian Fuji musician, film actor, and the acclaimed creator of the Hip Fuji genre. He is recognized as one of the most influential figures in contemporary Nigerian traditional music.Early Life and Education Saheed Osupa was born on August 7, 1969, in Ajegunle, Lagos State, Nigeria, but has close ties to Ibadan, Oyo State, where he spent his formative years. His musical roots are familial; his father, Moshood Ajiwere Layeye, was a Wéré music artist. Osupa attended Amuwo Odofin High School in Lagos, graduating in 1987. For his higher education, he obtained a National Diploma in Business Administration from The Polytechnic, Ibadan, in 1992. He is also an alumnus of the American International College, where he pursued studies in Networking Operations.Career Progression and Achievements Saheed Osupa officially chose music as his profession in 1983, marking the beginning of his prolific career.
