Joshua Iniyezo, widely known by his stage name Solidstar (or SolidStar Isoko), is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and musician prominent in the Afrobeat and R&B genres. Recognized for his unique sound, he is best known for his hit song "One in a Million."Early Life and Education Solidstar was born Joshua Iniyezo on November 8, 1988. His family originates from Aviara town in Isoko South, Delta State, Nigeria. His musical journey began early, at the age of 14, when he started playing the drums for his local church choir in Aviara.Career Progression and Achievements Solidstar’s professional career commenced when he was discovered at a music talent show in the Ajegunle area of Lagos State. This exposure led to his introduction to a record label boss, Paul Cole. In 2010, Solidstar formally signed with Achievas Music (also known as Achievas Record). That same year, he released his debut album, *One in a Million*, under the label. The album achieved significant success, fueled by its lead single, also titled "One in a Million." The album gained further traction when a remix of the single featured the collaboration of African music legend 2Baba (2face Idibia), a major achievement that broadened Solidstar’s reach across Nigeria and Africa. He continued to build his career with subsequent albums, including *Grace$Glory* (2013) and *W.E.E.D* (2016).
