Teniola Zaccheaus Jr. (born 28 June 1990), widely known by his stage name Teezee (stylized as TeeZee), is an English-Nigerian rapper, singer, songwriter, and record executive. He is a prominent figure in the Nigerian music industry, known for his involvement in the musical group DRB LasGidi and for co-founding The NATIVE Networks, a media platform focused on African youth culture. Early Life and Education Teniola Zaccheaus Jr. was born in Lagos, Nigeria, on 28 June 1990, and was raised between London, England, and Lagos. He began making music during his time at Malvern College in Worcestershire, England, in his early teens. While at school, he connected with BOJ and Fresh L, who would later become his groupmates in DRB LasGidi. Career Progression and DRB LasGidi Teezee's professional career began with the formation of the Nigerian musical group DRB LasGidi, alongside BOJ and Fresh L. The trio is considered a pioneering force in the "alté" movement, blending Afrobeats, hip-hop, R\&B, and other genres. Since 2007, Teezee has maintained an active presence in the music scene. Beyond his work with DRB, Teezee has established himself as a solo artist. The NATIVE Networks and Executive Role Teezee is also recognized as a key record executive and co-founder of The NATIVE Networks, a media and entertainment company known for its music platform and magazine, *The NATIVE*. In this capacity, he has played an influential role in promoting and shaping contemporary African music and youth culture. His executive work involves talent scouting and management; for instance, he announced the signing of the recording act Odumodublvck in November 2022. He also released his own single, "Manhattan" featuring Cruel Santino, under his label in December 2022.
