His father is Hausa from Kano, and his mother is from the Shuwa Arabia ethnicity, originating from Borno State. Gwanja is a practicing Muslim. For his higher education, he attended the Federal College of Education, Kano.Career Progression and Notable Works Gwanja began his music career in 2014 with the release of his debut studio project, *Kujerar Tsakar Gida*.
