His career spans over four decades, establishing him as one of Nigeria's most respected figures in theatre and film. Early Life and Education Antar Laniyan was born in Osogbo, Osun State, Nigeria. He attended Baptist Secondary School in Lagos State. Following his secondary education, he pursued higher education in theatre arts, later studying at the University of Ibadan, where he obtained a degree in the field.
