Jemima Osunde

Jemima Osunde (born April 30, 1996, in Lagos, Lagos State, Nigeria) is a Nigerian actress, model, presenter, and physiotherapist. She is recognized for her roles in Nigerian film and television, most notably in the MTV Shuga series and the feature film *The Delivery Boy*.Early Life and Education Jemima Osunde grew up in Lagos, Nigeria, as the last child and only daughter of her parents, alongside her elder brothers. She pursued a demanding academic path, studying physiotherapy at the University of Lagos (UNILAG), from which she graduated in 2019. Following her graduation, she completed the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) orientation program.Career Progression and Notable Works Osunde’s career began in 2014 after her uncle encouraged her to pursue acting, leading to her first appearance in the film *Jungle Jewel*. Her major breakthrough came in 2015 when she was cast as Leila in the fourth season of the popular television series *MTV Shuga*. After being written out for the fifth season, she returned for the sixth season when production moved back to Nigeria. She has appeared in several significant Nollywood films. Notable works include *New Money* (2018) as Toun Odumosu, *Lionheart* (2018) as Onyinye, and *Quam's Money* (2020), reprising her role as Toun Odumosu. Her performance as Nkem in the 2018 film *The Delivery Boy* is particularly significant.
