**Kanayo O. Kanayo** MFR (born Anayo Modestus Onyekwere; March 1, 1962) is a distinguished Nigerian actor and legal practitioner. He is widely regarded as one of the pioneers of the modern Nigerian film industry, Nollywood, and is particularly known for his compelling portrayal of villainous or occult-themed characters. **Early Life and Education** Anayo Modestus Onyekwere was born on March 1, 1962, and hails from Nru Umueze Oboama Ezinihitte in the Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State, Nigeria. He was primarily raised in Aba, Abia State, where he attended St. Joseph Primary School and Secondary Technical School.
