For his education, he attended the University of Calabar in Cross River State, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Linguistics. He later pursued advanced studies at the University of Lagos, earning a Master's Degree in International Law and Diplomacy in 1982. **Career Progression and Training** Ekpenyong began to hone his acting skills during his mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program.
