Elizabeth Ibukunoluwa Anjorin is a Nigerian actress, film producer, and business executive, recognized primarily for her significant contributions to the Yoruba-language film industry (Nollywood). Early Life and Education Elizabeth Ibukunoluwa Anjorin was born in Badagry, Lagos State, Nigeria. She pursued higher education at Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), where she was active in student politics. She graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Transport Planning and Management. Following her university education, she sought formal training in acting, during which time she connected with mentors such as Idowu Ogungbe and Ahmed Alasari, who were instrumental in advancing her career. Career Progression and Notable Works Anjorin began her professional acting career in the Nigerian film industry and rose to prominence toward the end of the first decade of the 21st century. Unlike many of her contemporaries, she quickly transitioned into film production, creating and starring in her own projects. Her debut film as a self-producer was *Tolani Gbarada*. Her notable early films include *Ise Onise* (2009), *Arewa Ejo* (2009), and *Owowunmi* (2010). Her career is marked by a dual focus on acting and successful entrepreneurial ventures within and outside the entertainment sphere. Personal Life Elizabeth Anjorin converted from Christianity to Islam, adopting the name Aishat. She is married to Alhaji Abdulateef Lawal and has a daughter, Florida, with him, in addition to a grown daughter, Rotimi, from a previous relationship. She remains active in the industry as an actress, producer, and entrepreneur.
