**Muyiwa Ademola** (born 26 January 1971 or 1973), widely known by the moniker **Mr. Authentic**, is a highly regarded Nigerian actor, filmmaker, and film director who primarily works in the Yoruba-language film industry, known as Yoruba Nollywood. He is recognized as one of the most prominent and influential figures in the indigenous Nigerian cinema space, with a career spanning over three decades.Early Life and Education Muyiwa Ademola was born on 26 January 1971 (some sources state 1973) in Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun State, southwestern Nigeria. He grew up in a family with modest means, which impacted his educational timeline. He attended St. David's High School at Molete in Ibadan, where he obtained his West Africa Secondary School Certificate. Due to financial constraints, Ademola disclosed that he began his university education 13 years after leaving secondary school. He eventually attended the University of Ibadan, where he studied and graduated.Career Progression and Achievements Ademola began his journey in the Nigerian film industry in 1991 after joining through veteran actor Charles Olumo, popularly known as Agbako, who was based in Abeokuta. He was mentored in acting and film production by the director S.I Ola.
