Pere Oghenemaro Egbi (born circa 1988), widely known as Pere Egbi, is a Nigerian media personality, actor, model, and former United States military personnel, who gained significant prominence as a housemate on the Nigerian reality television show, Big Brother Naija.Early Life and Education Pere Egbi pursued education that led him to become a qualified nurse. He later served in the United States Military for six years. During his time in the military, Pere has stated that one of his motivations for joining was to become a U.S. citizen.Career Progression and Notable Works Following his military service, Pere returned to Nigeria and diversified his professional pursuits. He established a career in real estate and pursued his passion for the arts as a part-time actor and model. Driven by his passion for acting, he took intense acting classes with the Pencil and Film Technical Institute in Africa. Pere is also recognized as an accomplished singer and songwriter who plays instruments such as the piano and the guitar. As an actor, his notable works include the roles of Sweet water Brown in *Gem of the Rain Forest*, Dr. Emeka in *Pound of Flesh*, Dr. Sango in *Page 36*, and James in *Nikki: A Hip Hop Love Story*. He also starred in *Lonely Heart*, *All that Glitters*, and recently held a leading role as Bobby in *Dead Presidents Society*. He has also revealed that he once acted in a Nigerian television series, *Super Story*.Major Achievements and Current Status Pere Egbi rose to widespread national recognition as a participant in the sixth season of the Big Brother Naija reality television show.
