Queen Nwokoye, born on August 11, 1982, is a Nigerian actress and entrepreneur widely recognized for her significant contributions to the Nollywood film industry. She is an indigenous actress best known for her versatile performances, often portraying roles in the Igbo language. She hails from Ihembosi in the Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra State, Nigeria. Nwokoye completed her primary education at Air Force Primary School and attended Queen's Secondary School. She later pursued higher education at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, where she graduated with a degree in Sociology. During her university years, she participated in several pageants, including Miss Eastern Campus, which she won. She initially aspired to become a lawyer. Nwokoye began her professional acting career in 2004 with her debut film, *Nna Men*. Since her entry, she has appeared in over a hundred Nigerian films, quickly establishing herself as a prolific and bankable actress. Her career progression saw her rise to prominence with her ability to seamlessly transition between comedic and dramatic roles, often gaining recognition for her roles that resonate deeply with local Nigerian audiences. Her consistent work and dedication have cemented her position as a leading figure in Nollywood. A major achievement in her career came in 2014 when she starred as the lead character in the film *Chetanna*, which earned her a "Best Actress" nomination at the 11th Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA). Other notable works include *Nwanyi Mbano*, *The Harvest*, *Oshimiri*, *His Majesty* (2004), *The Girl is Mine* (2004), *Ada Mbaano*, *Paulicap & Perpetua*, and *Koko Babes*. Queen Nwokoye is currently active in the Nigerian film industry as both an actress and an entrepreneur.
