Shank Comics (Adesokan Adedeji Emmanuel), born on March 23, 1997, is a Nigerian comedian, skit maker, streamer, and YouTuber. He is a prominent figure in Nigeria's digital comedy space, known for his unique blend of humor and his signature catchphrase, "Lit Gang." Early Life and Education Adesokan Adedeji Emmanuel was born in Iwere-Ile, Iwajowa-Oyo State, Nigeria, and grew up in Olambe, Ogun State. He is of Yoruba descent. He received his primary education at Goodness and Mercy Private School and attended Lagos State Model College Meiran for his secondary education. He later pursued his tertiary education at Obafemi Awawolo University in Ile-Ife, Osun State, where he studied Electrical Engineering. Career Progression and Notable Works Shank Comics initially started his career by creating memes and sharing them with friends. Encouraged by their reactions, he began skit-making in 2017 and rose to widespread prominence during the COVID-19 pandemic. His work is characterized by high energy and commentary-style comedy. His popular content includes the "Lit Gang" series and the "Evangelist A. A Alao" videos, which were popular in 2021.
