Stanley Ebuka Nzediegwu (born May 15, 1989), known professionally as Stan Nze, is a prominent Nigerian actor. He is recognized for his significant contributions to the Nollywood film industry, particularly for his versatile acting roles and critical acclaim in recent years.Early Life and Education Stan Nze was born on May 15, 1989. During his childhood, he shuffled around Nigeria frequently. He received his elementary education at First Foundation Nursery and Primary School in Okota, Lagos. For his secondary education, he attended The Good Shepherd Anglican Seminary in Enugu, where he also learned to speak the Igbo language. Nze continued his higher education at Nnamdi Azikiwe University. While in university in 2006, he discovered his passion for acting after joining a church theatre group called Champions Theatre.Career Progression and Notable Works Nze officially began his professional acting career in 2009, making his television debut in the series *Private Sector*. His first major film role came in the 2013 movie *Murder at Prime Suites*, where he portrayed a serial killer struggling with bipolar affective disorder. His career gained further momentum with lead roles in several major productions. He starred as David Inyama in the 2016 movie *Just Not Married*, which screened at the Toronto International Film Festival. He became widely known for his leading role in the 2020 remake of the classic Nigerian movie, *Rattlesnake: The Ahanna Story*, where his performance as Ahanna was critically acclaimed.Major Achievements and Current Status Stan Nze has received multiple nominations and awards throughout his career. He was nominated for Best Lead Actor at the 2016 Zulu African Film Academy Awards (ZAFAA). He won the Best Actor category at the 2021 City People Movie Awards and also secured the Best Kiss in a Movie award at the 2021 Best of Nollywood Awards. His most significant achievement came in 2022 when he won the Africa Magic Viewers' Choice Award (AMVCA) for 'Best Actor in Drama' for his role in *Rattlesnake: The Ahanna Story*. As of 2021, Nze was also named one of the highest-grossing actors in Nollywood. In September 2021, Nze married fellow Nigerian actress Blessing Jessica Obasi. He continues to be an active and influential figure in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
