Awaziem has spent the majority of his professional career in Portugal, though he has featured in several top European leagues. Early Life and Career Progression Awaziem was born in Enugu, Nigeria. His football career began in his native country, but his move to Europe secured his pathway into professional football. In 2014, he joined the youth setup of Portuguese giants FC Porto. After progressing through the ranks, he made his senior debut for the reserve team, FC Porto B, where he established himself as a reliable central defender. His potential led to a promotion to the FC Porto first team, but he often found himself moving on loan to gain consistent first-team experience. His career progression includes spells at various European clubs such as Nantes in France, Boavista and Portimonense in Portugal, Leganés in Spain, and Alanyaspor in Turkey. Major Achievements and International Career Awaziem’s most notable achievements are linked to his international career with the Nigeria national team, the Super Eagles.
