Chidera Ejuke (born January 1, 1998) is a Nigerian professional footballer who primarily plays as a winger. He is renowned for his exceptional dribbling skills, pace, and agility, attributes that have established him as a dynamic offensive threat. Ejuke's career trajectory has seen him compete in multiple top-tier European leagues and represent the Nigerian national team.Early Life and Career Beginnings Chidera Ejuke was born in Zaria, Kaduna State, Nigeria. His passion for football began at a young age, leading him to join the renowned G-12 Football Academy in Abuja, a highly respected institution known for nurturing Nigerian talent. His performances at the academy attracted international attention, paving the way for his move to Europe to begin his professional career.Professional Career Progression Ejuke's European journey began in Norway when he signed with Vålerenga Fotball in March 2017. He quickly demonstrated his potential, although his time there served as a developmental phase. Following Vålerenga, Ejuke moved to the Netherlands, joining SC Heerenveen in 2019. It was during his spell in the Eredivisie that he truly rose to prominence. His impressive statistics, including a high number of successful dribbles and goals, made him one of the most exciting young players in the league and earned him the nickname "The Nigerian Neymar." His stellar performance in the Netherlands led to a significant transfer in August 2020, when he moved to the Russian Premier League side CSKA Moscow, signing a four-year contract.
