**Chigul** Chioma Omeruah (born May 14, 1976, in Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria), widely known by her stage name Chigul, is a Nigerian actress, comedian, master of ceremonies (MC), and talk show host. She is one of Nigeria's recognized media personalities, known for her unique use of voices and characters, particularly the character "Chigul," who speaks in a strong Igbo accent. **Early Life and Education** Omeruah was born in Yaba, Lagos, to Igbo parents. She is the second of four children born to Air Commodore Samson Omeruah, a former military governor and minister, and Mrs. Omeruah. Although she was born in Lagos, she moved away as an infant. She completed her primary and secondary education in Lagos, attending two Air Force secondary schools, one in Jos, Plateau State, and another in Ikeja, Lagos State. After secondary school, she briefly attended Abia State University (ABSU) for three months. In 1994, at her father's request, she moved to the United States to study Criminal Law at Delaware State University. After two years, she transitioned to studying French Education at the same institution. Omeruah is known to be a polyglot, fluently speaking five languages. **Career Progression and Achievements** Chioma Omeruah initially began her career as a singer under the name C-Flow. Her career shifted dramatically when a voice note she sent to friends, featuring her character "Chigul," went viral across Nigeria.
