MC Lively Michael Sani Amanesi (born August 14, 1992), widely known by his stage name MC Lively, is a Nigerian comedian and actor. He is recognized as a prominent figure in Nigeria's digital comedy scene, known for his unique comedic style often centered on observational humor about Nigerian socio-economic realities and current affairs. Early Life and Education MC Lively was born in Edo State, Nigeria, and grew up in Osun State, Southwest Nigeria. He attended Ideal Nursery and Primary School and Moremi High School for his early education. He later pursued higher education at Obafemi Awolowo University, where he studied law. Amanesi was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2016, but ultimately decided to forgo a legal career to pursue comedy full-time. Career Progression MC Lively began his professional comedy career around 2015, focusing heavily on short, engaging video skits shared across social media platforms. His rise to prominence was fueled by his distinct character persona and relatable content. He often performs alongside other notable Nigerian comedians, including Akpororo and Igosave.
