Nathan Tella

Nathan Adewale Temitayo Tella (born 5 July 1999) is a professional footballer recognized for his versatility as a right winger or forward. Although born in England, he represents the Nigeria national team at the international level. He currently plays for the German Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen. Early Life and Education Nathan Tella was born on 5 July 1999. His youth career began in England, where he joined the Arsenal Academy at the age of seven. After ten years in the Arsenal system, he was released in April 2017. He subsequently joined the academy of Southampton. Career Progression Tella signed his first professional contract with Southampton in July 2018. He made his senior debut for the club on 19 June 2020. Tella spent a significant period on loan at Burnley for the 2022–23 season, where he played a pivotal role in their successful campaign. Following his standout performance at Burnley, he secured a permanent move to Bayer Leverkusen in the summer of 2023. Tella plays for Bayer Leverkusen as of the 2024–25 season. Internationally, Tella was born in England but chose to represent Nigeria. Major Achievements and Notable Works Tella has contributed to significant team achievements during his career. While on loan at Burnley, he won the EFL Championship during the 2022–23 season.
